Family counselling
Brother/sister, sister/sister, brother/brother, parent/child, aunt/niece...close relationships are often challenging, as they bring up lots of stuff that we can find very difficult to deal with on our own.
So many things can come in to tip the family off balance. It could be something as simple as a misunderstanding about what a family member did or said. Or it could be a major stressful event, such as the death of a family member or an illness, or moving homes or cities.
At times like these we all need support.
Anne has many years’ experience working to resolve family disputes. I can work together with you all (individually or together) to find true answers to your issues and stresses, so that you can face the past, then put it behind you, so you can all move forward and return to harmony in your family.
Divorce and Separation counselling
Sometimes the best way forward for the whole family is for a couple to initiate a separation or divorce. This can be the case both if there are no children or there are children involved.
Going through a separation or a divorce (called ‘dissolution of marriage’ in New Zealand) can be extremely stressful and overwhelming.
With nine years’ experience as a mediator of family disputes, and 13 years as a practising lawyer, and now a qualified counsellor, I can offer you counsel and coaching to support you (individually or together) to get through the process of separation and divorce in a way that is loving, practical and free of stress and angst.
